The Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses for our Day Surgery Department on both a full and part time basis. As an experienced practitioner you will display drive and enthusiasm for the delivery of expert clinical care with a commitment to actively participate in and facilitate ongoing learning and development.

To Apply:

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the below requirements in your CV and a 1-2 page cover letter:

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 3 years’ post Grad experience with at least 2 years’ experience in a Day Surgery
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and a proven ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Sound understanding of theatre
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and exercise independent professional judgement and critical thinking
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary health care team
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and confidence in using Microsoft and health care information systems
  • Ability to be flexible between morning and afternoon shifts
  • Demonstrated commitment to own professional development
  • Experience in a busy day surgery, operating theatre, recovery unit or endoscopy area is desirable
