The Role:

We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic SSU Loan Set Coordinator on a full time basis who will be responsible for the efficient turnaround of quality processed loan/consignment medical devices used in surgeries at the hospital. This includes coordination with the Theatre CNCs to effectively provide loan/consignment reusable medical devices (RMDs) as required. This position also requires external engagement with device providers to ensure expectations are met.

The SSU Loan Set Coordinator ensures compliance with standards related to the reprocessing of loan and consignment RMDs to ensure risk associated with hospital acquired infections is controlled and/or prevented. The role also includes supporting the SSU Manager, Supervisors and Team Leaders with the development and implementation of continuous quality programs that will improve customer service and meet industry standards.

  • Health Services Assistance – Sterilisation Services HLT31107 Certificate lll
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Sterilising Unit
